The NASA Ames Exploration Center features an array of exhibits detailing NASA space technology, as well as the largest Immersive Theater on the West Coast - a curved 40 foot wide screen. The science center also houses the Mars Terrain Globe, Moon Rock, Mercury Redstone 1A, and Edgarville Airport interactive displays. The center is located north of the Bayshore Freeway, on the western edge of Moffett Federal Air Field.
